In an effort by our club to assist local emergency response agencies we have partnered with Kingston and District Fire Dept.
By sharing our site with them they have increased the usable range of their radio system drastically. The extension to our building allows space for the permanent location of their repeater equipment, the relocation of our UHF repeater and a bit more space for us. This has proved to be a good partnership as they have done some upgrades to our site during the installation of the addition.
