| We arrived at Cottage Cove Picnic Park to find this strange looking system setup in the driveway. Being curious we had to check it out only to find it was 2 Amateurs from New Hampshire giving contacts on various bands to their club station at home for a contest. When some of went to NEARFEST in New Hampshire the next spring the first folks we saw when exiting our vehicles were the operators of this station. They were pleased to tell us their club won the contest. | |

When preparing to take down their tower the drive chain master link broke. Our member did what we could to help the fellows out. And sent them on their way with a plate of sweets to tide them over until their next stop. |
